the thirteenth to be exact!
it was a pretty good day. i took myself out into the city, had a nice lunch, walked around in the lovely weather and went to a cocktail bar. i even took some pictures! i don't normally do much on my birthdays but i felt like changing it up this year.
i went to this cute little place called tipo. small plates, italian cuisine. bit pricey, but good overall! i ordered the bream. it had many bones. i asked the waitress to debone my fish, and she did it with ease. incredibly skillful.

it was a real nifty joint. bartenders were very personable and talkative, which was especially nice since i was doing a solo thing that day. ended up spending a few hours there getting wasted before stumbling to the train station to go home.
all in all, it was a pretty good day.
